No thank you I'd rather wait till the end of the year and get a solid and coherent system the 360 :P

the PS3 is to weak right now and needs 2 or 3 years to build games(half of witch will end up on the 360) and lower its price by 200.

I would love to see how Microsoft actually responds to this matter. It would be interesting to see. I would feel that Microsoft would come out with a long winded statement that makes no sense like when the politicians talk. :)

..the way i see is Xbox360 has like 95% of games will be on PC and PS3... so get a good PC and a PS3 then you have the full variety since we all kno that MS cant live without making a game thats for both PC and xbox360. Just my opinion which is why xbox never interested me. But its good to see that with all these 'faulty' issues that xbox360 is still doing very well.

Both sides have their issues but have been getting them resolved as Microsoft dropped the TSST drives and has Lite-On is now manufacturing the OEM drives now. That should revolve the disc scratching issue. During the first week of use my 360 scratched my Gears of War game and decided to send the system back. I did that 5 times, man I hate the red ring of death. I opted out and got in store credit from Best Buy instead it wasn’t going to happen to me again, mine was a gift so I aint trippin. I’ll wait like everybody else, till a revised stable version is favored among critics.

Im not a fan of nobody. As gamers the only thing we want is to enjoy the best gaming experience regardless of which console delivers. But, all them lawsuits sony has been facing and patent infringement of Blu-ray technology the ps3 contains, they'll be hard pressed if a court order demands sony to pay monetary damages to such copyrighted content holders or halt production of the ps3.

Zippy hands down you are one of my favorite poster at afterdawn.always something intelligent to say.i agree the 360 is gonna be the console of choice in about 4 moths.mainly because of the third party support and M$ trying to fix problems with it.also sony just lost the exclusive on medal gear this was their ace in the hole.i think this time around M$ made sure they hade full third party dev on board.not saying that the ps3 will crash and burn.but at the time M$ is in the lead and the lead is growing

So "people" have to actually wait for a decent 360 to come out..lol.. how come if Xbox is so great its always having some kinda problem..hmmm maybe because Microsoft has a tendency to release stuff before they actually get it "fully operational" .. windows..hmmm ring any bells?? Dont get me wrong.. I admire their effort.. but in MY opinion all the hype about 360 is exactly that... If Microsoft would put as much effort into fixing "problems" instead of trying to stack everything but the kitchen sink in it, then it would be a decent console...Sony PS3 take some of the same features, make them better, then adds their own flair... People still have patience with the 360 even though they've gone through 2,3,4 and even 5 360's. To me that's a system that people just can't get enough of (says alot about the success if you ask me if people are willing to endure failure after failure). Microsoft needs to address this issue imediately because I think the 360 failure rate is through the roof, it's just no one can get any real definative numbers from Microsoft who obviously don't want this bad press so they cover up the real numbers.

Cmon lets be honest nex-gen consoles has bugs but what going on with the 360 is beyond being a new console.Microsoft has alot of problems right now.As for PS3 not having games lets not for get 360 has just about the same amount of games PS3 has now at this point last year.Due to the fact 360 had a year start thats why they have alot of games not good games but a decent gaming library.

So you telling that when Sony launched that they supposed to have just as many games as 360 thats nonsense for anyone to think that.I was comparing 360 at the same point & time last year & all 360 fan-boy did was cry about the lack of games.You can't stack 360 now against Sony now unfair advantage do you think? In my opinion i do think that G.O.W was that only game worth playin on the 360 & game sales also shows that because no other 360 game sales has even came close.But thats what 1 killer appt that Microsoft has released in one year.Seem like Microsoft gets a free pass with all the crazy issues that its console is having & on top of that 1 or maybe 2 killer app in 1 year.But if the tables was turned people would be ripping Sony to no end.So people mostly 360 fan-boys don't look at things in a fair manner.Sony is a corp Just like Microsoft but i think most 360 fan-boys see Sony as GOD like company for some reason.

lol... aww did I offend you fanboy...I do play with my PS3..lol why else did I buy it.... .. Anyway why would you even compare the PS3 to Xbox... If you want to go there, here is an article taken from Gamespot on that subject:

I try and refine my understanding of the nuances of each system by seeing how many people I can piss off speaking the truth the more that get annoyed the closer I get, am I always right no but I try and be in the middle.

PS3:high price low launch libary= high end game machine
and it shows it,the PS3 will gain momentum over the 360 even MS understands that the question then is whats it going to do and how its going to do it,so far Sony is running on blind market faith to the point of arrogance can sony start gaining ground to fill the coffers it lost gettign this beast to market,so has a a vertical climb up the hill and its going to be a slow long road,I see the PS3 doing well and yes better than the 360 well in 2+ years,if they can get the PS3 under 450/500 USD world wide.....they win it would push sales on all fronts and be worth 1-3 billion in losses to do so,but I think they already hit their loss qauta....meh who knows...for me and some its too soon to jump heads first into the PS3 and for even less of us its just more of the fing same shallow graphic based gaming WTL......

360:don't get me wrong I can hate eqauly MS screwed up at least 4 times by now,the BWC issues,the Disc eating ,keeping live premium and of coarse the fail rate that and a PC style of gaming that is stolen from the PC adds up to annoy the hell out of me,if they gave you a choice and released the games on PC and the 360 I would not be so bitter but WTF they are padding the 360 with games that should be on the PC and not some dorky poorly configurable console and yes I rember dues ex 2 that and Doom3 was the end of PC FPSs they now are all made to conform to small level designs to run better on the consoles and in the process destroy level design thats part of the core of FPSs the other part is weapons.. ack

Anyway the 360 has shown its a good console despite its failings and thats its a ok media machine its online component is the best made yet, perhaps when sony gets PSH out we shall see a solid ravil until the the PS3 network is a bit iffy.
In the end MS will always be a 3rd wheel unless they can break threw into Asia.

Price+innovation + volume X3=2 Wiis for all LOL,
Despite my issues with the WII (no save states graphic tweaks or speed hacks for the VC and no button/pad cumostization for the WII,GC,VC)
The WII is doing a double whammy right now its managed to bring innovation and cost cutting together to bring gaming to both non gamers and gamers alike, this is a unstoppable force sure the bottom will fall out of it before the others but they are already making a hell of a profit off it this is what they all should focus on innovation and cost reinventing the wheel is becoming to costly and potentially pointless,MS is the best example they have spent maybe 10-20billoin to get the Xbox brand off the ground and make the 360,if it was a no name asain company it would have thos losses halved.

I see the WII doing great till 09 or 010 I don't see the bottom falling out in 08 even if they stopped selling wiis it would take the others a year or 2 to catch up to world wide sales,nintendo has woken the sleeping giant of non gamers who want to be entertained but hate game pads,I see blue skys for the WII all the way they might get cloudy later on but no rain,MS and Sony has been drenched by rain and water and both by a bit o rocky showers,MS will go where the skys are gray but manageable and Sony will have solid rain for the next year,rian/clouds in 09, hazy skys for some/most of 010, 010 and beyond is where the PS3 will shine,by then it should be the god darn SUN and imploded the planet LOL
no really, the cheaper the tech gets the cheaper the unit price gets the more sales it has the better off it will be it just has to rebuild its brand.

WII has it this go round unless sony want to go to a 350-400 USDprice point thats abotu the only way to combat King WII world wide.

All things considered the PS3 is the Xbox its the worest seller of the main 3..or prehaps its so vague you dont understand...

7th gen compared to 6th gen
PS3: power+cost+slow sales=Xbox
Wii: price+games=PS2
360: brand power+slow sales+decent libary=GC

Now dose this mean they are stuck on that track no,the PS3 will move to the 2nd position in mid/late 08 without price drops and a lot of exclusive titles it will be like the GC and Xbox (almost tied for 2nd place for world wide sales).

if the PS3 can set to a 500$ price point it should out sale the 360 easily but only if it STAYS at a 500$ price point,if they go to 400$ with WII will be castaered!

Of coarse who cares comparing the nuances of the systems is insulting fanboys *rollseyes*
