"The game is set after the events of MGS2 and players will reprise the role of top secret agent Solid Snake with appearances by characters throughout the MGS series. With the addition of online capability, MGS4 is a leading product and will signal the dawn of a new gaming era for the MGS series," A Konami spokesman said.
This would indeed be bad news for Sony if true but excellent news for Xbox 360 owners. However, there really hasn't been any solid confirmation of this speculation. When Digital Spy approached Konami to ask about the speculation, the company would neither deny or confirm the claims.

According to several reports online, the highly-anticipated once "PS3 Exclusive" title, Metal Gear Solid 4: : Guns of the Patriots is coming out for the Xbox 360 console as well. There have also been rumors of a stripped down Wii version of the game. According to sources, the game is no longer exclusive to the PS3 and the Xbox 360 will get exclusive content not available for the PS3.
