You live life your way, I'll do it mine. I don't need a book to tell me how to live my life. I know the difference between right & wrong. I don't need to quote from the bible either, I am perfectly capable of making my own decisions in life.

All religious bigots do is just quote, other mens' words at that! You don't seem to have a mind of your own. Just keep believing what you wish. At least I have the intelligence to make up my own mind!

Maybe I was a little harsh, but such is the anger that wells up inside me when people go on about religion. Esp the holier than though act.

I hate religion, I hate people who use religion to manipulate others. I hate religious people inflicting their warped view of life, nature & science on children. I hate religious people who use fear to manipulate children.

So there you have it.

The only people who are rational, unbiased & objective in the world are non-religious people, we have independence & freedom of mind. I am not the one who is blinded here. My eyes are WIDE open.

I suppose you are honest, however, you have a lot of anger within you on these issues. If anything, I ask nothing of you except for you not to hate and try to show tolerance. If you are adamant on your stance that's fine, its your personal choice but at least remove hate from your heart. Hate only hinders those who harbour it within their hearts.

I've studied sociology long enough to tell you that humans are guided by their emotions. What you describe in your statement, is essentially, a robot. That's why we try our best to uphold these ideals.

Just because I believe in God, doesn't make me blind to science, or less rational, or less independent than non-religious people.

So that's all I have to say on this issue.

And there you go again not knowing what you're talking about. I did not CALL you a label, such as stupid, I said not to BE stupid. There is a major difference between the two. Since you sound like a smart person, it shouldn't take you too long to figure it out. And since I don't commit ad hominems, I wasn't "lashing out" at you.

I think you and I can agree, that a lot of religous people accept the science of, for instance, reverse psychology to further impose their views onto the open-minded. Yet when the science of abortion comes into play, say the issue be when the fetus' heart has not pumped a beat so it isn't considered murder, they reject it with loud mouth antics and words that you think the devil would speak of. Honestly, I feel sympathy for Jesus Christ. And hey, some of my good friends are Christian, and they accept friends of any religion.
