WinSPWW2 includes more than three hundred scenarios from which sixty six are completely new, sixty new maps, six nations, five hundred new and revised unit icons and three new campaigns. There are twelve new terrain tiles to create more versatile terrain. The game also features a new enhanced AI system which provides more intelligent opponents.

The game includes a map editor, and can be played in multiplayer mode.
