Players enter the 1930s style cruise ship called The Northern Star as a guest of Mr. X, and soon find out to be both the hunter and the hunted. The unique gameplay of The Ship is a combination of traditional first-person shooter, Clue, and The Sims. Each guest trying to murder with anything they can get their hands on while trying to avoid getting murdered or arrested by The Ship's security.
The Ship can be played in single-player mode against AI opponents, but the real deal is the multiplayer mode.
