Wii News Channel online

Siggy @ Jan 26, 2007 11:50

Just few hours ago Nintendo launched it's last sleeping Wii Channel. The News Channel is free for all Wii owners around the world and is powered by The Associated Press' international news content.

Wii News Channel is divided into categories such as Business, Sports, Arts/Entertainment, Technology and Science/Health, and if you are only interested in your area news, you can select Regional news or spin the globe to seek news from other regions. The headline icons show whether the story is text-only or has images, and if you have read it or not.

Nintendo also added another two Virtual Console games to its Wii Shop Channel. The hugely popular Mario Kart 64 and Soldier Blade from Turbografx (PC Engine) join the more than 40 classics previously available. Mario Kart 64 costs 1000 and Soldier Blade 600 Wii points.
