Family Media Guide lists top ten violent games of 2005Dela @ Nov 30, 2005 22:34 | 11 comments A list has been compiled by Family Media Guide containing the top ten violent games for sale in 2005. The group urges parents to check their children's Christmas lists for any of the titles. Utilizing a proprietary audit process, the company's trained video game analysts capture and document instances of profanity, sex, violence, and substance abuse using a database-driven technology employing approximately 4000 rules and algorithms governing millions of potential rule combinations.
This data is then analyzed to generate an objective rating, superior to the existing ESRB (Electronic Software Ratings Board) industry association-based review approach which assigns ratings based upon the subjective opinions of three individuals who do not even play the game. Here is the top ten list "in no particular order".

Comment by: Mik3h (Dec 01, 2005 14:31) Ah I see. And yeah, I agree. The missions just get boring, once you've went on a few wild rampages, it just get's tiring.

Comment by: Reasons? (Dec 01, 2005 23:14) I'm sorry, but Quake 4 is a 2005 game, and if it didn't make the top of this list, this list and company can go to hell and burn for its stupidity.
I just used my machine gun scope to zoom in on project (One of my former marine buddies) the medical sporgg was dissecitng, and from what I remeber from anatomy class they did a damn good job, the intestine color was a bit too yellow though... It was awesome, he was stretched out on this table and special grippers held the skin back and strectht it a foot to each side, the facial expression was priceless too.
I can't get over how amazing Quake 4 is on the 360. |
Comment by: dworak (Dec 02, 2005 03:49) why why why.... older ones like my fav. "rune" by headstudio are ignored? oldies are cheaper and therefore easier to get. violence is a part of every human being.... that list is pointless. |
Comment by: Reasons? (Dec 02, 2005 10:06) It's the top ten list of 2005, all time. |
