Sony has announced today that the PlayStation Network has hit a new milestone, 25 million registered users.

Additionally, users have downloaded over 500 million pieces of digital content.

The network, which encompasses the PS3 and PSP store, has over 200 games, 1900 films and 9000 TV episodes alongside tons of demos, wallpapers, themes and trailers.

The most popular download recently is the PSone title Final Fantasy VII which was digitally re-released two weeks ago and has had over 100,000 downloads since launch.

Wolfenstein 3D, Bomberman ULTRA, Gunstar Heroes and Trash Panic also had strong sales.

I didn't know they had VII in the store :o

Think I just might buy that along with some Rock Band songs, now that they FINALLY have PSN cards in Canada...

Damn straight! I just bought two $50 PSN cards last week and had my first purchases off of PSN. Now if only they would bring the video store to Canada...

I was in EB the other day and I saw them in their lil' behind the counter cabinet...

Bought a 360 arcade for $150 and traded in 4 old crappy DS games and got $74 off... I still have them too cause I bought a DSTT and put the games on that lmao

Yea, seems as though only EB Games has them but that's all good. Wolfenstein 3D was a lot of fun to play again. Didn't think it would be so popular.

And yea Morreale, seems sorta obvious, just hinting to Sony that I would buy more if they opened up :P
