The player takes the role of Sora, a young boy equipped with a keyblade. The keyblade works both as a key to open new worlds and a blade to destroy evil monsters that endanger the peaceful Disney lands. You travel through various exciting worlds with Donald Duck and Goofy to find and rescue your missing friends.
Kingdom Hearts II features a broad array of attributes and abilities which can be determined while leveling up the character. There are number of mini-games that can be played in various levels during the adventure. The characters in the game are familiar from Disney and Square Enix productions and are voice acted by some of the biggest Hollywood stars.
