Silent Heroes, the standalone expansion to Soldiers: Heroes of World War II, casts players in the action of World War II and in control of special operations force. The game is based on the "Heroes" engine and keeps the core elements of hugely successful predecessor while adding new fresh features.
Silent Heroes includes a new story-driven campaign which focuses on sabotage missions behind enemy lines such as capturing enemy officers, destroy hostile radars, occupying railroad stations and taking part in the chase after a German “Tiger”. Silent Heroes now features improved graphics, effects and video, a huge variety of controllable items including tons of fire-arms, small arms, cold steel and more, and majority of objects that can be used as shelter and that can be destroyed.
