Set in medieval England, Daemonica tells a story of an investigator who can communicate with the dead. Player takes the role of this "investigator", Nicholas Farepoynt, and starts to solve the puzzle around a murder of a young girl in the slowly dying city of Cavorn.

Daemonica features a intriguing story with dialogues with both living and dead characters, puzzle and quest solving and fighting sequences. The player is driven into the story by exciting twists.
