"The year is 2142, and the dawn of a new Ice age has thrown the world into a panic. The soil not covered by ice can only feed a fraction of the Earth’s population. The math is simple and brutal: some will live, most will die."
In Battlfield 2142 players choose from two superpowers,the European Union or the newly formed Pan Asian Coalition, fighting against eachother and ultimately for survival. The players will be equipped and armed with the most lethal and advanced hi-tech equipment including assault rifles, cloaking devices and sentry guns. The massive Walkers stomp the battlefields and futuristic aircraft fight from the skies.
Battlefield 2142 features new Titan Mode in which players goal is to destroy enemy's Titan, a huge, heavily armored, flying warship. To destroy it, player have to advance inch by inch, destroying shields, boarding the craft, fighting the way to it's reactor core and detonating it. To be successful, you'll need both excellent teamwork and strategies.
The games award system will increase player's rank and unlock awards, including new weapons, medals and more, through game experience and in real time.
The game is playable in a huge up to 64-player online multiplayer games.
