My only problem is with the fact my PSP is still version 1.5...For some reason I doubt this will work on it heh

Comment by: sk8flawzz (May 02, 2007 10:59)

@Erickix
you should look into custom firmware man, its pretty awesome

Comment by: Erickix (May 02, 2007 11:12)

Yea i know, I'm just afraid of f'in it all up heh

Comment by: sk8flawzz (May 02, 2007 13:20)

just to stay on topic
i hope the quality of the camera is 3.2MP at least!!
but yea theres 'winstallers' that intall the custom firmware with virtually 0% chance of messing something up

Supported in version 3 firmware and above.

1280x960 pixels @ still
480x272 pixels @ 30fps video

Ummm. Is that a mini usb plug i see.. wounder if you could plug it into a pc as well with a hacked inf and the right drivers.

Or does this mean that home brew firmwares are going to appear to use any fixed make model of webcam?

Comment by: Toren (May 07, 2007 21:04)

From what I've seen the picture/video quality is good, but this thing is way over priced for what it does.. here's why:
1. For the same price you can get a higher megapixel stand alone digital camera.
2. Pro Duo memory is expensive, once again you're better off with a stand alone cam.

If someone invents software that lets cam owners make video calls to each other it might be a fun toy worth it's price.

1.3pixel is bad... rather get a digital camera..

So if I purchase the camera from europe...will it work on my USA psp? I mean are the formats different? Does the whole PAL system take any affect?
