Comment by: NeoRio (May 16, 2005 13:00) As impressive as Microsoft's new device appears to be, unfortunately, it will not be able to stand up against the PS3. Sony's use of the blu-ray disc will totally crush Microsoft's effort (Sorry Billy Boy). Therefore, I will not be buying an Xbox 360. I'll just be content with my Xbox and PC and hold out until Sony releases its new much more advanced system. |

Well well well; while we are are talkint civil here I just got to say this and i know i am going to stir some commotion but man i tried to tell them boys. Xboc 360 is over, through finished, done, stick a fork in her cause she is well done. PS3 specs have been officially unveiled and it is more than 2 times more powerful than the xbox next. IF MS have problems with sony though their symtem was sliiiiightly more powerful, what are they going to do now that they would have to hook two xbox 360 together to even come close to the ps3 capabilities. Long live the king. SONY. |

Comment by: lxhotboy (May 20, 2005 16:41) OH do you need a diaper and a wipe to go with all your crying. Lol lol. I am talking about the 360 and it should be called the 170 because it is not even half the system ps3 is. |
Comment by: deezp1 (May 20, 2005 18:56) Quote: LOL, Whatever. Dont forget, Specs arent everything. Its all about the games and let not forget that. You can have a great system, but if your games suck then whats the point (remember the turbographics 16 and dreamcast!)
Anyways, what 360 lacks in specs, they more than make up in features. ![]() HEY NOOBS! Please don't use the whole, "I have a friend who..." line without having proof. Thanks! |
Comment by: Bubba1982 (May 20, 2005 20:50) Dude, the dreamcast had the best game off all time. Phantasy Star Online 1 & 2. Well, the xbox has them aswell, and nintendo has it too. But originally, dreamcast had it and it rocked. ![]() For more help copy and paste this URL

Comment by: AtariBorn (May 21, 2005 03:44) Ha! the Dreamcast, I can remember being stunned that a game that looked as good as Soul Calibur was on a console back then.
And yes, Phantasy Star Online did kick ass! PS2 v7

The controller, the camera, the headset, the camera, and even the console itself...there have been a lot of Xbox 360 leaks so far.
Now, it seems a full list of Xbox 360 specs and Xbox Live details has been leaked. This list comes from a thread on the Team Xbox forums (the thread has since been deleted), and the TXB poster originally got it from another un-named forum.

To sum up the important stuff regarding XBL:
There will be two versions of Xbox Live. Silver is free (everyone gets it), and Gold is a paid subscription, like the current XBL. It looks like Xbox Live will be free on the weekends for everyone; Gold members will get it all the time, obviously. Current Xbox Live accounts will carry over to the 360 and become Gold Xbox Live accounts. Both Gold and Silver members will be able to download demos, trailers, and other content through XBL.
This info seems pretty legit, and some insiders have confirmed that this is indeed a real leak. |
