Here is the alleged PlayStation 4 spec sheetDVDBack23 @ May 29, 2012 14:50 | 28 comments Over the weekend, a German console site called PlayNation revealed pictures of the alleged PS4 spec sheet along with some additional data on the console, which is set for release at the end of next year.
We did not run the story originally, as most of these stories end up being complete hoaxes, but we have decided to post the specs and data here today to see what our readers think.
The site posted documents allegedly leaked directly from Sony on the PS4, which is codenamed "Orbis." The console will have strong integration with the Vita handheld, and will also introduce a new service dubbed "Iris."
Here's the spec sheet:
CPU – Cell Broadband Engine X @ 3.2GHz – 16PPE's – 128 SPE's
What do you think?

The idea to them is to move forward, not backwards; they won't give in to customer demand now, as the demand isn't higher than the ones who don't rightly give a damn or don't want the feature altogether.

Comment by: Kannz (May 29, 2012 17:08) this is 101% horse specially because its has every PS console on there..this is probably a "wish list"

Comment by: brockie (May 29, 2012 17:15) that would be a killer console if true. |
Comment by: TBandit (May 29, 2012 17:23) I think it's all still fake, just a website trying to get traffic |
Comment by: Interestx (May 29, 2012 17:31) Quote: Yeah, sure, bound to happen.

Comment by: xnonsuchx (May 29, 2012 20:52) Almost as BS-y as the x86-based rumors. Like it's at all difficult to fake a document to looks like other official Sony/PS3 documentation. |
Comment by: A5J4DX (May 29, 2012 23:02) interesting specs
|
Comment by: grathan (May 30, 2012 01:51) They had better be making some killer launch games. I could care less that they are stringing along failures to the new console. |
Comment by: Steel-Ice (May 30, 2012 02:16) Fake. Sony is dumping cell and they are using ATI for their video card. Backwards compatibilty won't exist or will be limited like when MS went from Nvidia to ATI. Some of the specs are way too high, Sony is still in the red. For their next console they know not to price it too high.

Comment by: core2kid (May 31, 2012 04:07) Originally posted by Interestx: Next round of consoles won't use DDR3 for sure. The GDDR6 part seems right. As for 10GB, doubtful. Every generation of consoles has had significantly less RAM than PCs of the time. Right now, I'd think 1-2GB is what they'll use but with the price of RAM so low, 3-4GB is possible.
