"That is maybe the area where I am devoting myself (the) most," Miyamoto adds.
He notes that the DS is already used in museums and aquariums and that the gaming giant will begin to release the DS "in junior high and elementary schools in Japan starting in the new school year."
Additionally, the designer, when asked about new motion control systems Natal and Move, simply said he was "honored" that Microsoft and Sony were following in the path of the Wii, for which Miyamoto also has design credit. |

Comment by: nintenut (Mar 20, 2010 01:48) I can imagine it would work great as a way for Japanese kids to learn English, but in the 'States there aren't any officially released applications that would fit a middle-school setting... That I know of, anyway.

Comment by: DVDBack23 (Mar 23, 2010 16:49) Originally posted by KillerBug: Once again a pretty bold statement. 125 million units sold, a catalog of good games, and a wide audience (little kids to grandparents). The system is hardly junk.
