There are five games available and the free Opera web browser as well. The games are WarioWare: Snapped!, Pyoro, Paper Plane, Art Style: AQUITE and Art Style: CODE.
As part of the launch promotion, DSi owners will receive 1000 free DSi points after downloading an initial firmware update.
All games in the DSi store are placed in a three-tiered pricing structure, with the cheapest costing 200 points (GBP 1.80), the next tier costing 500 Points (GBP 4.50) and Premium, which is everything higher. |

Comment by: inagasake (Apr 04, 2009 17:37) DSi shop games won't run on a DS/DS Lite with a flash cart. Some of these DSiware games look kinda neat but I'm not dropping money on a DSi until they start putting out some full retail DSi-exclusive games. By then, the DSi will probably be cheaper anyway. $200 CDN upgrade just to play some small DSi minigames? No thanks. The two cameras suck, the DSi is too bulky to be a decent audio player (AAC only? Ha!), the SD card slot is useless if you can't load games off it and you only get a .25 inch screen length upgrade. Not value for money at all at this point. The Math Brain Age game in the North American version DSi shop looks very neat but little games like that don't sell a console I'm afraid. |
