This English version of the SpellForcer 2: Shadow Wars demo familiarizes player to the role-playing-strategy game during the tutorial and one map.

Thank you for downloading the Spellforce 2 demo!
If you are having difficulties running the demo, check that your system meets
the minimum system requirements below and that your video card's chipset is
supported. Then try the following steps:
1.) Ensure that you are running the latest version of DirectX.
2.) Update your graphics drivers to the latest version.
3.) Have the latest firmware for your motherboard chipsets.
4.) If you have an nVidia graphics card and are still having issues with the
demo, you may need to get nVidia's official beta drivers. You will need version
84.11 or later. You may find them at

5.) To help get your demo working, Aspyr may provide limited technical support
for the Spellforce 2 Demo.

with latest drivers
- English version of Microsoft Windows 2000/XP
- Intel Pentium 4 1.6 GHz or AMD Sempron 2800+ or higher
- 512 MB RAM (1024 MB Recommended)
- DirectX 9.0 compatible sound card
- Windows 2000/XP compatible mouse and keyboard with latest drivers
- 8x speed CD-ROM drive or 4X DVD-ROM drive
RECOMMENDED SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
- Windows XP
- Intel Pentium D 3.0 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 4000+ or higher
- 1 GB RAM
- Geforce 6800 or Radeon X850 or better 3D Accelerator Card
MULTIPLAYER REQUIREMENTS:
- Internet(TCP/IP) or LAN(TCP/IP) play supported
- Internet play requires broadband connection and latest drivers
- LAN play requires network interface card with latest drivers
This product does not support Windows 95/98/ME or NT.
Notice: Some 3D accelerator cards with the chipset listed here may not be
compatible with the 3D acceleration features utilized by Spellforce 2. Please
refer to your hardware manufacturer for 100% DirectX compatibility.

KNOWN ISSUES:
Some graphical issues have been known to occur if you do not restart the
application after making changes in the Graphics Options.
Spellforce 2 Demo may have stability issues on the following video chipsets:
Nvidia Geforce 4TI 4800, Geforce FX 5600, Geforce FX 5700 series
ATI Radeon X1300, X1600, X1800 series
To help alleviate these issues with Nvidia Chipsets please try the following
beta driver update if you have an Nvidia video card:
