Chromehounds set in the future where three superpower nations fight for the world domination. The combat forces are lead by mechs called "Hounds", war machines that players control in a cooperative squad-based combat. Ultimately the victory is up to your reflexes, strategic planning and teamwork.
The game features six different types of Hounds, all of which have their own use in battle: Scout, Soldier, Sniper, Defender, Heavy Gunner and Tactics Commander. Players are able to customize their mechs with a huge variety of enhacements, creating bigger and badder Chromehounds.
Chromehounds can be played with up to 6 player squads in head-to-head fight with opposing squad via Xbox Live. The players can sharpen their skills and tactics in single player while creating and boosting their Hounds. The game features a whopping over 110 maps and campaigns to choose from and a millions of customizable options including skins, parts, weapons, etc..
