Hi all,

Yes, unfortunately, TW '07 doesn't behave after I upgraded to a dual core Athlon. Same as the previously mentioned symptoms, especially that aggravating flyby glitch. I'm running XP Pro 5.1, build 2600 with SP3 and DX9.0c on an Asus A8V-X mobo with a dual AMD Opteron 180 processor, MMX, 3DNow with 2.40GHz and 2GB RAM. Graphics is an NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GS OC (AGP).

Hoping someone definately knows whether the program is just too old school for a dual Athlon proc or if there is a workable solution. Missing this excellent game and playing TW'08 instead.(Sigh)

P.S.- vvegib, have u tried the patch?

My dad has TW 07 and it keeps crashing back to the desk top. He has asked me for help and I'm not having much luck. He also has TW 06 and has never had a problem with it. I saw a post about it crashing and something about a fly by or something like that, but his is just crahing back to the desk top. If anyone can help my dad and I would really appreciate it. Thanks

My game keeps on freezing on the load screen. Is this happenning with anyone else? I have replaced the game but it still does it. I have the same computer specs as the other reviews wtf is going on? Im trying to find a mod/upgrade for the game but am still havnt found one.

I also had problems with Crashes and the Fly BY glitch... Download a small program called "runfirst" (read the instructions) This will fix crashing and the fly by problem...

I like the game now!!

I have a early model Athlon 64 and a Geforce 6600 GT and this game run completly smoothe and operfect. Never had a crash like what the previous reviewers have noted.

I never played TW06, I always ran TW05 until getting the 07 version. I was amazed first time I saw the difference in the way the courses looked. The grass and green textures as well as everything wlse was amazing compared to TW05.

I’ve had the exact same problems as the previous posters. I have an AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ and a NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT graphics card. It looks like the game’s problem is with the Athlon Dual Core family of processors since that is the only common characteristic we all possess. The game gets the lowest score possible from me.
