For Liberty includes two operations, in one you'll fight in the American Revolutionary War 1775-1783 and the other in Hungarian Wars of Independence in Europe, 1703-1711. Both theatres of war include 4 campaigns in 3 difficulty levels.
In the game you'll have to manage all the 6 resources: recruits, horses, muskets, cannons, money and supply to create the upper hand. The battles are fought with 16 types of units, including riflemen, militia, indians, etc. lead by a variety of 400 historical leaders in 3 ranks, each with up to 3 special abilities from total of 16. The battles are affected by tactical formations and strategical stances, which makes them more realistic.
